Action cures fear
How tiny step forward is sometimes all it takes to quiet the fear
I don’t know about you, but I’m scared of A LOT of things in life… especially the future and the unknown.
So I wanted to share a very simple, but powerful quote that helps me feel a little less afraid over time (and that I found in the book The Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz) :
« Action cures fear. »
— David J. Schwartz
Fear loves waiting. It grows in silence, in hesitation, in all the moments we say “not yet” or “maybe later.” But the moment you take action, even a tiny one, fear starts to lose its grip.
You don’t need to feel 100% confident before you start. You don’t need all the answers.
You just need to do it (like Shia LaBeouf once yelled very confidently 😂).
Send the email. Ask the question. Make the decision. Press go on that thing you’ve been circling around for weeks.
Courage isn’t about being fearless, it’s about doing the thing anyway.
What’s one small move you made recently that lifted a big weight off your shoulders?
Tell me, I want to be inspired 🤓
See you in two weeks! 👋
