The power of small steps
Building momentum for big changes
Hello Hello!
I’m starting 2025 strong with a quote from the perfect book to kick off the year on the right foot!
I found it in Atomic Habits by James Clear, and I’m sure it will shift how you approach personal growth and long-term success.
“Every action you take is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.”
— James Clear
👉 Here’s what I think about it : When we’re chasing big goals, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the distance between where we are and where we want to be. But the secret isn’t in giant leaps—it’s in the small, consistent steps we take every day.
Every time you show up, even in the smallest way, you’re casting a vote for your future self. Whether it’s reading one page, exercising for five minutes, or starting a project you’ve been putting off, those little actions build momentum over time 📈.
❤️ Next time you feel stuck, just focus on the next small step—it matters more than you think. Let’s keep casting those votes for the lives we want to create!
On another note 👀
Here's what I plan to share in the next two weeks on Happiness Library:
Takeaways and notes from the book Tiny Traumas
Book recommandations for thriving at work
Official review of When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi (a memoir)
Book recommandations that feel like a therapy session
Which of these posts are you most excited to see?
See you in two weeks!
