Why your childhood still shapes your relationships

Understanding the “why” behind how you love

Hello Hello!

There’s a quote from the very popular book Attached by Amir Levine and Rachel Heller that really stuck with me:

« The way we connect with others is deeply rooted in the way we were cared for as children. »

Think about it… The way we were loved, comforted, and cared for as kids basically taught us the “rules” for relationships.

If care felt steady and warm, we probably learned to trust. If it felt unpredictable, we might have learned to hold on tight… or keep our distance.

The thing is… these early lessons often run on autopilot well into adulthood.

But once you spot the pattern, you can rewrite it ❤️.

(And reading Attached will help you get there)

Have you read this book before?

See you in 3 weeks!
